​UniFg unit consists of two members: Alessandra Beccarisi, full professor in history of medieval philosophy (unit head and substitute PI of the project), and Francesca Sivo, associate professor in medieval Latin literature. The unit head will study geomancy and its dissemination, while Sivo, who is a professor of Medieval Latin Literature, specialising in the political activity of Costanza d’Altavilla, will investigate the impact of divination on the political life in southern Italy under the rule of the Queen of Sicily.
